KOOL KIDS DAY CAMP 2008

Cost is $40 per child. 

Kool Kids Day Camp

This program is sponsored by the church and consists of taking children on trips every Thursday through June and July (no trip on July 3).  This program is for children who have at least completed Kindergarten thru the 6th grade. 

 

Drop off and sign in your child at 9 a.m. at the TSBC youth center (609 Trenton St./corner of Crescent and Trenton Streets).  The day begins with a short devotion by our Pastor and then they are off for a fun filled day!  The day ends at 3 p.m. in which your child can be picked up at the same designated area as the drop off (youth center).

 

Program costs:  $40 per child

 

* Registration Day:   Thursday, June 5 from 8:30 am to 5 pm in the church office.  Registration forms will also be available each night (6-9 pm) during Vacation Bible School (June 1-6) here at Trenton Street .

June 19 – Smokies Baseball Game (children need lunch$$ and $$ for drinks at the game)

June 26 – Mayfield Dairy (ice cream will be provided)

July 3 – No Kool Kids

July 10 – Children’s Museum

July 17 – Ijams Nature Center

July 24 – Zuma Fun Center (no lunch needed; pizza and drinks will be provided)

Kool Kids Rules

 1.  NO CROCS, FLIP FLOPS OR SANDALS PERMITTED!  NO EXCEPTIONS! TENNIS SHOES ONLY!

 2.  Make sure your child wears their Kool Kids T Shirt…do not alter shirts (cut sleeves, etc.) or you will need to purchase an additional shirt.

 3.  Do not drop your child off before 8:45 a.m. and your child must be picked up by 3:15 pm.

 4.  We try to keep all children equal, therefore, please do not send extra spending money with your child. (except for Smokies Game-see above)

 5.  Your child may bring a water bottle with them for each trip.  Since most of our trips are outside, it gets very hot at times.  Please put their name on it.  All children will     be responsible for keeping up with their own possessions.  We are not responsible for lost items. 

 6.  Your child will need a sack lunch (disposable bag-no lunch boxes) each trip (except for special trips noted above).  We will provide drinks.

 7.  Any parent interested in attending a trip with their child will be responsible for any fees associated with that trip.

 8.  Please put sunscreen on your child if you think he or she will need it.

 9.  Make sure we have a completed registration form including medical form on file.  If you information changes during the program, please notify us.

10.  If you have any problems or concerns throughout the program, PLEASE do not hesitate to contact the church office.  We can’t fix what we don’t know is wrong.
